Biography: William O. "Bill" Unger, II, 68, of Littlestown, died Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at UPMC Hanover Hospital.  He was the husband of Donna M. (Weaver) Unger for 45 years. Born Dec. 10, 1955 in Ft. Sill, OK, Bill was the son of the late WIlliam O. & Francis R. (Leonard) Unger.  He was a 1973 Delone Catholic High School graduate.  Bill was a metal fabricator for M & M Tool & Die of Littlestown and later became owner/operator of Superior Fabrication, also of Littlestown.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are his daughter, Christina M. Unger of Littlestown; his son, Matthew T. Unger & Kaitlyn of Carlisle; his grandson, Asher Unger and his sisters, Valerie Krug of Hanover and Lori Hager of Abbottstown.  Bill was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown, where he served as former parish council president. He also served on several committees and was church lector.   Bill served on the board for Hull Pottery Association.  He was an avid pottery collector.

Mass of Christian Burial is Tuesday, April 2, at 11 A.M. at his church with The Rev. C. Anthony Miller Celebrant.  Viewing is one hour before Mass from 9:45- 10:45 A.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown.  Interment is in Conewago Chapel Cemetery, Hanover. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill's name may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105 or  Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL  33607.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.

My heart goes out to the Unger family. Bill and Matt were some of the first people I met at the pottery show. I will also remember his kindness and gentle manner. Sending prayers to all.
