Biography: Patricia Ann "Patty" Gebhart, 63, of Mechanicsburg, died Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her home. Born Dec 24, 1960 in Gettysburg, Patty was the daughter of the late Donald "Stogie" & Mary C. (Chronister) Gebhart. Patty was a 1978 Littlestown High School graduate. She had started as a Transportation Specialist for Defense Distribution Center of New Cumberland and was promoted to her latest position of IT Specialist retiring in 2019 after 41 years of employment.
Surviving are her sisters, Angela M. Oaster & David of New Oxford and Kathleen L. Altoff & Laurence of Littlestown; her three nephews, Tony, Greg and Nick, seven great nieces and nephews and her aunt, Irene G. Shank of Gettysburg. Patty was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Verna Chronister. Patty was a member of St.. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown. She was also a life member of VFW Post 5265 Auxiliary.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, from 10 -11 A.M. at LIttle's Funeral Home, Littlestown. Graveside Service will be private with the Rev. C. Anthony Miller officiating in Flohrs Church Cemetery, McKnightstown. Memorials in Patty's name be made to American Cancer Society - 5040 Louise Dr., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. I went to school with Patty. We lived pretty close and occasionally we would ride our bikes from Littlestown all the way to Gettysburg. Great memories.! So sorry for your loss.
