Biography: Richard S. Abell, Jr., 80, of Gettysburg, died Friday, Jan 5, 2024, at Transitions Healthcare, Gettysburg. He was the husband of Karen L. Abell of Gettysburg. Born July 15, 1943 in Warrington, VA, Richard was the son of the late Richard, Sr. & Minnie (Ainsworth) Abell. He had retired in 1998 from Garrison Tile, Gettysburg.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter, Minnie E. Abell of Littlestown; his son, Harry S. Abell of Littlestown and his brother, Barry Abell of Hanover.
