Biography: Sandra Marie Whitmore
Newport, NC - Sandra Marie Whitmore, 71, of Newport, NC, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City, NC.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019, at Littles Funeral Home in Littlestown, PA. Interment will follow at Grace Church of Christ Cemetery in Taneytown, MD.
She was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Floyd Flowers and wife Cindy of Glen Burnie, Maryland, Edward Earl Edmonds and wife Amy of Swansboro, NC; step-son, Phillip James Whitmore of Hanover, PA; sister, Pamela Jo Parrish of Port St. Lucie, FL; and grandchildren, Lexy Eileen Edmonds, Taylor Brooke Edmonds and Brandon William Barrett, niece, Casey Chapell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sterling Whitmore; parents, Joseph and Lottie Card; and sister, Connie Sue Koenig.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City, NC and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Littles Funeral Home in Littlestown, PA.
