Biography:
Dorothy L. Barnes, 76, of Seven Valleys, died Wed, Dec 26, at Manor Care Kingston Court, York. She was the wife of Wilmer L. Barnes, Jr. for 62 years. Born Sept 14, 1942 in Gettysburg, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Clyde Krumrine & Arlene Snyder. She was a homemaker and a foster mother.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are her mother-in-law, Dorothy K. Barnes of Seven Valleys; her children: Scott E. Barnes, Debra Lee Eckenrode, Corbett E. Barnes and Neil P. Barnes; her 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her brother Gary Snyder. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family.
Graveside Service is Monday, Dec 31, at 10 A.M. at Christ Church Cemetery, Littlestown with The Rev. Stan Diehl officiating. There will be no viewing.
