Biography:
Francis E. Reaver, 90, of Taneytown, died Wed., Jan. 24, at his home. He was the husband of the late Fannie Mae (Stock) Reaver who died June 10, 2013. Born Aug 11, 1927 in Taneytown, he was the son of the late Charles B. & Carrie (Dutterer) Reaver. Francis was a graduate of Taneytown High School and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was owner/operator of Reaver Trucking.
Surviving are his granddaughter, Natasha Pinheiro of Charleston, SC and his brother, Frank Reaver of Bel Air, MD. Francis was predeceased by his grandson Michael Stuller; his son Douglas Reaver; his brothers: George, Kenneth, John and Ralph Reaver and his sisters: Helen McAvoy, Catherine June Ripley, Mabel Johnson, Doris Hoffman, Alice Copenhaver and Marion Ricker. Francis was a member of Grace UCC, Taneytown, the Elks, VFW and American Legion.
Graveside Memorial Service is Monday, Jan 29, at 11 A.M. at Grace UCC Cemetery, Taneytown with The Rev. Steven Ostendorf officiating. There will be no viewing.
