Biography:

Paul E. Shoemaker, Sr., 64, formerly of Littlestown, PA died Tuesday January 9, 2018 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born October 30 1953 in Gettysburg, Paul was the son of the late Austin and Jean E. Shoemaker. He was a 1971 graduate of Gettysburg High School and served in the United States Marine Corps. Paul was a mason by trade. He is survived by his sons, Paul E. Shoemaker , Jr. and his wife Gloria of West Virginia and Joshua A. Shoemaker and his wife Carla of Lancaster.
Three grandsons and three great grandchildren.   He is also survived by brothers Wayne Shoemaker of Littlestown, Austin Shoemaker of Hanover, Eugene “Bill” Shoemaker and wife Jody of Spring Grove , Dale Shoemaker and wife Cheryl of Gettysburg and  sisters Esther Shoemaker, Rose Waxler, Shirley Brown and husband George and Mary Ellen Settle all of Gettysburg.  Delores Shuff, Lynn Lawrence and husband Joe both of McSherrystown and Debra Kelley and husband Tim of Littlestown. Paul was predeceased by his brother Walter Shoemaker. Paul attended Gettysburg Baptist Church.   Paul was a loving father to his sons, enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Funeral Service is Saturday January 13 at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home with the Rev. William G. Mummert officiating. There will be a viewing from 10-11 at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown with Military Honors provided by the Littlestown Allied Veterans Council.
