Mildred H. "Terry" Georgius

Biography:

Mildred H. “Terry” Georgius, 92, of Littlestown, died Tues A.M., Jan 24, at her home.  She was the widow of Charles R. Georgius, Sr. who died Jan 5, 1994 and Elijah “John” Nichols who died in 1951.  Born Dec 19, 1924 in Baltimore City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph G. & Margaret May (Kehoe) Hooker.  Terry was a Catonsville Community College graduate and had been a secretary with National Dairy Association Labs.  She was then executive assistant to the director at Epoch Counseling Center, Catonsville for 20 years retiring in 1987. 
 
Terry is survived by her son, Charles Rawlings Georgius, Jr. & wife, Kristine, of Derwood, MD; her 3 daughters:  Kathleen Pettorsson & husband, Colin, of Littlestown; Barbara San Martin & husband, Allan, of Ocala, FL and Alice Caltrider and the late, Bruce, of Westminster;  and her 7 grandchildren:  Nicholas & Victoria Post; Matthew & Kelsey San Martin and Skylar, Carey & Riley Georgius.  Terry was predeceased by her 5 sisters:  Jane, Margaret, Anna Frances, Virginia and Annastasia and her 6 brothers:  John, Joseph, Louis, Billy, Andy and Franklin.  She was an active member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown. She loved antiques, coins, gardening, feeding the birds and especially spending time with her family.
 
Mass of Christian Burial is Fri, Jan 27, at 12 noon at her church with The Rev. James M. Sterner, Celebrant.  There is no viewing; however, the family will receive family and friends Friday 10 – 11:45 A.M. in the church social hall.  Interment is in the Parish Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mildred’s name may be sent to her church @ 29 S. Queen St., Littlestown, PA  17340.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com

I am sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection(Acts 24:15)and the renewed Paradise earth, where death will be no more and no family will mourn the death of a loved one.-Revelation 21:3,4;John 5:28,29;Luke 23:43. may GOD(Psalms 83:18)grant you peace and comfort now, during this grievous time.-Matthew 5:4.

I will always remember Terry for her hats and her participation at all the church functions. She will be missed.
