Biography:
Brenda L. Hollinger, 73, of Gettysburg, died Sun, Oct 2, at Life Care of Mechanicsburg. Born Aug 9, 1943 in Hanover, Brenda was the the daughter of the late Paul & Mabel (Biddinger) Hollinger. She was a 1961 Littlestown High School graduate and attended college in New Mexico.
Surviving are her 2 daughters: Carol Hoffman & Gary Sease of Gettysburg; Lisa DiNapoli of Parker, CO; her 3 grandchildren: Alexandra Jordan, Cameron & Lauren DiNapoli; 2 great grandchildren: Keeva & Tristan Jordan; her 2 brothers: James L. Hollinger of Norristown; Kenneth B. Hollinger of Slidell,LA and her sister, Carole H. Oles of Spartanburg, SC. Brenda loved horses and her cats. She enjoyed Celtic music and dance and anything having to do with Ireland. She was involved with fundraising for PAWS. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Memorials in Brenda’s name may be sent to: Pompe Disease Research, C/O United Pompe Foundation – 5100 N. Sixth St. #119, Fresno, CA 93810. Brenda and I spent many after school hours together at my house doing homework and sharing "girlie talk" with each other. I've missed seeing her and talking to her over these past 50 years, but my memories of her will always be in my heart. Condolences to the family.

I have many fond memories of Brenda. She was my baton teacher for many years and I worked under her when Elby's opened in Gettysburg. My deepest sympathy to everyone in Brenda's family.
