Biography:
Jeanette C. Wilt, 85, of Littlestown, died Tues afternoon, Feb 23, at York Hospital. She was the widow of Thomas H. Wilt who died Oct 16, 1999. Born Dec 14, 1930 in Gettysburg, Jeanette was the daughter of the late Philip M. & Ella (Wood) Redding. She was employed at Snyder’s Pretzels of Hanover, Inc. where she retired after many years.
Jeanette is survived by her brother, James Redding & wife, Dianne, of Littlestown; her sister Winifred (Redding) Bosley & husband, Kenneth, of Hanover; 20 nieces and nephews. She shared companionship with Russell Franklin for 7 years. Jeanette was predeceased by her 3 brothers: Philip F., Fidelis R. and Rodney J. Redding; her sister, Barbara R. Harner and her sister-in-law, Barbara Redding. Jeanette was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown. She enjoyed gardening and taking rides in the country.
Funeral Service is Sat, Feb 27, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. James M. Sterner officiating. Visitation is 10 –11 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment is in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg. Memorials in Jeanette’s name may be sent to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
