Biography:

Margaret M. “Peg” Baker, 94, formerly of Littlestown, died Tues, Dec 22, at The Brethren Home, New Oxford.  She was the widow of R. Bond Baker who died Sept 27, 1984.  Born Nov 20, 1921 in Littlestown, Peg was the daughter of the late Charles A. & Gertrude (Smith) Smith.  She was a Littlestown High School graduate and was employed with Littlestown Manufacturing, Sylvia Garments and Wogan’s, all of Littlestown. 
 
Peg is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three brothers:  Robert J., Carl and Richard C. Smith and her seven sisters:  Marie Bohne, Pauline Will, Stella Berwager, Ardella Wildasin, Romaine Clingan, Cos Zumbrum and Cass Connor.  Peg was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown.  She enjoyed socializing, being with her nieces and nephews and telling jokes.
 
Funeral Service is Monday, Dec 28, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. James M. Sterner officiating.  The will be no Viewing; however, the family with receive friends on Monday 10:30 – 11 A.M. at the funeral home.  Interment is in Conewago Chapel Cemetery, Edge Grove.  Contributions in Peg’s name be sent to St. Aloysius @ 29 S. Queen St., Littlestown, PA  17340  or The Brethren Home, 2550 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com
