Biography: Elaine R. Harman, 95, of Hampstead and formerly of Westminster, died
Friday, Aug 16, at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Long View, Manchester.  She
was the widow of the late Paul E. Harman who died October 8, 2014. Born
Oct 30, 1928 in Houcksville, Elaine was the daughter of the late Elmer
R. & Ethel E. (Brummel) Richards. She was a high school graduate of
Hampstead. Elaine and Paul were self employed owners of Harman Used Cars,
the Meadow View Swimming Pool and Carroll County School Bus Contractors.

Surviving are her children, Vaughn R. Harman & Lisa of Towson,  Paula E.
Fritz & William of Westminster; her grandchildren, Holly Campbell, Haley
Tilghman and Tara Kelly and her great grandchildren Waylon Campbell,
Savannah Campbell, John Tilghman. James Tilghman and Mackenzie Kelly.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Alta Hudson and Ethel Rea Barnes and
her brother, Frank Richards.  Elaine was a member of St.Mary's UCC,
Silver Run. She loved her flowers, pets, wildlife and especially her
family.

There will be no viewing, however family will receive friends Wednesday,
August 21 from 10-11 at St. Mary's U.C.C. in Silver Run.  There will be
a graveside service after the visitation at St. Mary's Cemetery, Silver
Run. In lieu of flowers, contributions have been asked to go to St.
Mary's U.C.C., 1441 E. Mayberry Rd, Westminster Md. 21158. Online
